ETERNALLY BURNING HELL? EVEN THE SUN EVENTUALLY BURNS OUT.

I'm not saying the Catholics or Protestants are wrong about the eternally burning Hell, but it sure seems like a terrible doctrine and it makes God seem like a religious, hateful, fanatic.

Here's the question that is staring at me like an elephant in the living room, that shouldn't be there and so no one wants to mention it. We all pretend it isn't there. Here it is:

Jesus took our deserved punishment of eternal punishment in Hell-fire that never goes out and the worm never dies [Mark 9:44-49]. Okay, that much I can accept. So if I put my sins on Jesus Christ and bring Him as my offering for sin to God the Father, & if He accepts it, then I have only to eat the cooked sacrifice, the lamb, like they did in the Temple. So I go to church and eat the host that is Jesus, same thing,  and my sacrifice is accepted by the Father and by me. I am sinless, because Jesus was and is my sacrifice. Hallelujah.

Religious Ministers & Theologians: 

Blasphemy & ignorance of scriptures!! Thou unbalanced fool!! Jesus is our High Priest and King in Heaven, everyone knows that, thou duffer, thou knave. Sit down before thou strain-ist thy brain.

John:  In my own defense, if Jesus took the punishment for the sins & Original Sin of billions of spirits, from the bodies of human beings, and paid the price:  Eternal separation from God and Mankind in fire and suffering and torment. Then how can half a day on the cross and two & a half days in Hell satisfy the requirement of eternal punishment or everlasting destruction?

Religious Ministers & Theologians:  He is God, Eternal, Omniscient & Omnipresent. An ordinary human sacrifice would not be sufficient. Jesus, if he was only a human being, couldn't have satisfied or redeemed the blood of all mankind. That's religion--101. Only a sinless man who was also fully God could have restored all of Mankind to his elevated position in God's eyes.

John:  True, but then why isn't a small part of the Omnipresence of God burning in Hell? You scholars claim all sinful humans will have to suffer? Would Jesus put us through eternal suffering but not subject himself to it? How is he our sacrifice for escaping eternally burning Hell?  He isn't. He is only our sacrifice to give us new life through a holy resurrection, thou wind-filled bellies?

Religious Ministers & Theologian:  Tut, tut, thou unschooled fool. Why should he spend eternity in Hell for the saved and rescued, since they will never go to eternal Hell fires? He knew from eternity who the saved would be and He didn't die for the unrighteous, because they would never accept his sacrifice, nor would he force them to.

John:  What? What, thou bloated Calvinist...of double predestination ilk. Are you saying that God didn't want the sinners to be saved & therefore double-damned them to Hell?

Religious Ministers & Theologians:  No, thou dust devil, like a spinning cloud of dust in the intellectual desert of dryness & lack of sufficiency, God knew, foreknew, the free will decision that they would one day take. God doesn't die for someone that doesn't come freely into repentance.

John:  Yes, sorry. Well...um...yeah, maybe you have a point. Thou sophists, thou foxes, so you say that if all repent before death then, no one would go to Hell and their is no point in...I mean that a human death, multiplied by the billions, of God/Man in the person of Jesus Christ was all that was necessary?

Religious Ministers & Theologians:  We forgive you, but show respect before the leaders of God's Church. We are merely human, but occasionally the Holy Spirit of God speaks to you, through us.

John: But how can an eternity of suffering and flames ever be fair for seventy or eighty years of following Satan & our own desires? It can't be fair, we are just ignorant of this Hell belief. Admit it!!

Religious Ministers & Theologians:  Let us be humble & admit that there are many mysteries we don't understand. Why not teach others to crave for the joys in Heaven and the resurrection on the New Earth? The unsurpassed love, bliss & holiness will make us forget our troubled past. So then do you admit that no one should miss the next life with God?

John:  Of course, I plan to be there my self, but I was just trying to understand or try to get around this horrible doctrine of eternal Hell. It doesn't make sense.

Religious Ministers & Theologians:  If we teach something that is so impossibly cruel then why are so many choosing to still reject God & in spite of that terrible place of Torment?

John:  They are in rebellion against their parents, addicted to pleasure, impulsive, not capable of predicting the outcome of their behaviors, like children…Jesus said we must become like little children. Didn’t he?

Religious Ministers & Theologians:  Should we continue to wear diapers and crawl on the floor saying, goo-goo, ga-ga until our old age? There comes a time when we are accountable for our actions and we must become adults. Peter Pan must grow up. He becomes a father and he will guide his children into adulthood and responsibility or they too will be lost.

John:  You sound like Captain Hook, do you want to end all the fun & games for children?

Religious Ministers & Theologians:  Some fun, some games, some chores, some study, some Bible study, weekly Church attendance, some sports, some exercise and respect and obedience to parents and authorities. In our religious schools children are groomed not to become successful money making machines but, princes and princesses of Jesus Christ, where they will reign on the New Earth with God.

John:  Thank you. That brought a tear to my eye, my right eye, that…I didn’t know you cared. I thought you just wanted church schooled adults that had good jobs so they would contribute more money to the churches.

Religious Ministers & Theologians:  We also will accept their gratitude for having a good career. If we played a small part in that success, with our superior schools, then we accept their tithes and offerings in abundance, from their cheerful hearts.

John:  Wow, you could be a politician, well said!! No, but really, I hope you emphasize that these students of yours are not being groomed for wealth & the accumulation of the passing goods of this cursed life, but the eternal wealth of Heaven & the New Earth.

Religious Ministers & Theologians:  Some think buying their way to happiness will buy their way to God. They think their temporary freedom to sin & to laugh like fools is worth the consequence of eternal separation from God. When Hell is preached and believed in society, the churches have been historically full or fuller & more have been redeemed. Because of this kind & salvific teaching of Eternal Hell many more will be saved & enjoy the splendors of living with God for eternity.

John:  But, if I say, society or the church says, “The punishment for throwing a piece of paper on the ground, willfully throwing it, is the death penalty". And we catch someone in the very act, we will feel like murderers and fools to put him/her to death for littering. The punishment and also suffering we receive for foolishly attending to our own destructive & damaging instincts is far in excess of the crime. We suffer when we get sick, injured or ruined by our own sin. Why do we need an extra punishment after we die?

Religious Ministers & Theologians:  We have appointments with the Church Board and our publishers and the college faculty...you've stolen so much of our time.

John:  Okay, thanks for your time. You've been most generous. God has blessed you with knowledge and peace in the face of these tremendous mysteries. Peace be with you.

Religious Ministers & Theologians:  Peace be with you, also. And be careful not to mislead people with this website. Knowledge can be a dangerous thing, but partial knowledge can cause much confusion & calamity.

John:  Amen, I'll try to contain my criticisms and fantastic arguments.

John:  Oh good they’re gone. Here’s another argument for believing Hell is temporary. John, in the book of Revelation says,

“And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.” Revelation 20:14 So, after thousands of years or dozens, depending on how lucky you are, you are waiting in Hades, if you're a sinner. Heaven if you're a saint & born again in the true God. Then at the resurrection of the individual sinners & goat nations Jesus separates good from evil, once & for all. Eternal Hell, the demons, Satan & all the human resurrected bodily sinners are cast into the Lake of Fire and they are burned to meat, ashes and molecules of stream and they are gone forever. So Eternal Hell ends & it ceases to exist & is no longer eternal. This is the Conditionalist View of Hell (See:  David R. Reagan's, "God's Plan for the Ages"). I think the Apostle John, the Beloved of Jesus, if he is the author of Revelation, believed that Hell ends at the White Throne Judgment and sin is finally eliminated permanently and sin, sinners, sinful souls, sinful spirits, evil spirits, evil demons, devils or any supernatural evil spirit can’t be found anywhere in the New Universe, New Heaven and New Earth!  Yeah! The Traditionalist View of Hell is the eternal punishment in the lake of fire with demons & sinners, forever. I like the former view.

IS HELL FAIR, SOME ARE THERE LONGER?

So if you died four thousand years ago your spirit or soul would have been in Hell for 4,000 years until Jesus arose from the dead, but if you were a sinner you get to hear Jesus proclaim he could have been your Savior from Hades, but you rejected the true God. Then to add insult to injury you get resurrected after the Second Coming plus 1,000 years, the Millennium, only to be thrown into the Lake of Fire, OUCH! Some other sinner dies, one day before Jesus Christ returns (The second return-Parousia) and their spirit is only in Hades for one day and they get resurrected and thrown into the Lake of Fire and body & soul cease to exist. But maybe one hour of Hell fire will seem like an eternity or even one minute and 5,000 years is like an eternity. So 1 second=5,000 years of Hell. It’s a timeless suffering, no time exists in eternity and so it is fair for everyone. I believe that God is more just than Satan or any humans, Liberals, Atheists or New Age pseudo Hindus.

But do demon bodies, which are angelic bodies, get burned in fire? Yes, because,

[Jesus:] “Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:” Matthew 25:41, KJV

“For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to Hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto punishment; And spared not the old world, but save No’ah…Sodom & Gomorah…And delivered just Lot…The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:” 2Peter 2:4, KJV

 “And whoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” Rev. 20:15, KJV

John:  So, Satan can't cast our spirits into Hell only Jesus can...

Pastor:  John I was already on the highway and I realized I didn’t have my cell phone. Have you seen it?

John:  Oh, here it is on the pulpit, here you go.

Pastor Red:  What are you talking to the people about? We warned you not to tell them Hell was temporary didn’t we?

John:  Yes, but I said it was temporary in time, but for the  spirits who suffer it, it seems eternal and so it is eternal for them.

Pastor Red:  I don’t have time for this nonsense, I have a funeral to perform, but let me leave you with this tidbit. Jesus spoke about Gehenna or the Hell that has fire which is never ending, more than anyone else in the Bible. Do you agree that his words are perfect and eternal?

John:  Jesus’ words are everything and define the whole Bible for us.

Pastor Red:  Did Jesus say to the sinners:

“Don’t worry about Hell for sinners because Hell eventually ends & so does your consciousness.”?

John:  Well, no, not that I know of.

Pastor Red:  A word to the wise, don’t dabble in heresies or even create new falsehoods or you may wind up in your “Temporary Everlasting Hell”. Peace.

John:  Okay, people, disregard everything I said and just find your answers in your churches' websites. But, one prophet said the dead will be ashes under the souls of our feet & didn't mention moaning & groaning for ever, of souls I mean. [Malachi 4:1-6] Amen. But then, I'm not smart enough to figure this out.

Pastor Red:  A humble spirit will go along way. Let us theologians do the heavy lifting for you.

John:  Yes, but I'll still let the Holy Spirit interpret Scriptures for me, but I won't try to convince anyone that my way is the right way.

Pastor Red:  Precisely, Jesus is the way. You can't go wrong by proclaiming that.

Ne pas rejeter Jésus, à cause de l'enfer éternel, laissez-moi vous expliquer.
Credo de l'Apôtre dit que Jésus-Christ, quand vous êtes mort, est descendu aux enfers, mais quelle est cette doctrine simple de l'enfer? C'est une doctrine très complexe et prend beaucoup de recherches afin de comprendre. J'ai écrit au sujet du développement de l'Enfer, de l'hébreu ancien concept du séjour des morts et du concept grec de l'Hadès et comment il a changé. Il est maintenant changé par Gentile & judéo-chrétiens dans une doctrine que Noé, Moïse, le roi David aurait remis en question.
Nos concepts modernes de Heaven & l'âme éternelle mouler nos croyances au sujet de l'Enfer.
Pour comprendre l'enfer, vous devez aussi comprendre les paroles éternelles, éternelle, immortelle, éternellement, non seulement comme un savant moderne, mais comme un Juif ancienne, un Juif vivant dans le temps des grands prophètes, et en tant que Juif du Nouveau Testament.
L'enfer mots et le ciel sont remplis de possibilités, les paradoxes et de mystère.
Faites une étude de l'Enfer, la miséricorde, l'étang de feu, la Géhenne, l'amour, la justice et écouter ce que Dieu vous dit.
Nous pouvons tous en désaccord sur cette doctrine et encore aller au ciel, si nous sommes chrétiens.

Don’t reject Jesus, because of eternal Hell, let me explain.

The Apostle’s Creed says that Jesus Christ, while dead, descended to hell, but what is this simple doctrine of hell? It is a very complex doctrine & takes a lot of research to understand. I have written about the development of Hell, from the Hebrew early concept of Sheol & the Greek concept of Hades & how it has changed. It is now changed by Gentile & Jewish Christians into a doctrine that Noah, Moses, King David would have questioned.

Our modern concepts of Heaven & the eternal soul mold our beliefs about Hell.

To understand hell, you must also understand the words eternal, everlasting, immortal, forever, not only as a modern scientist, but as an ancient Jew, a Jew living in the time of the major prophets, & as a New Testament Jew.

The words hell & heaven are filled with possibilities, paradoxes & mystery.

Do a study of Hell, mercy, lake of fire, Gehenna, love, justice & listen to what God is telling you.

We may all disagree on this doctrine & still go to Heaven, if we are Christians.
