OBJECTIONS TO CHRISTIANITY
“[Christianity] Religion is the opiate of the people.”
Answer: Vodka alcohol was the opiate of the Russian Communists.
“Marxist Communism has never been tried in it’s truest form, but it does work”.
Answer: Christianity has been tried in its truest form and it does work. Sin, crime, and corruption can exist side by side with holy people, who still experience Heaven on earth.
"Christianity is based on illusions & lies that cause all the wars in the world."
Answer: Marxism always winds up forcing, killing and lying to people. Christians priests & ministers have no power to make political decision so they often stand by the sidelines with their fingers up their noses. Communism often leads to hatred, murder and Vodka. Jesus leads to Heaven.
“Communism and Socialism were taught and practiced by Jesus.”
Answer: No, Jesus was a believer in God and He was God. St. Paul, a Jewish Christian said, to bring, with a willing heart and mind your offerings & extra property, not for an atheistic welfare State, but to the Church of Christ. The Christian god is not a Dictatorial Government run by sinful men & women.
“Christians and religious people are hypocrites. They tell us to be holy, but they sin, get drunk, have sex, lie and steal, just like we do.”
Answer: No, a hypocrite doesn’t believe in or try to do what they are telling others to do. Christians, true Christians will trip & fall into sin, but they confess it to God and admit that they've sinned and go a different path the next time. Ungodly, confused or immature people look for the cesspool and dive in & say,“It’s not dirty & neither am I, no matter what God says”. Saintly Christians, not perfect, but devoted to God, try to perfect their holiness until they die.
“If God were real He wouldn’t let tragedy happen in the world, especially to the religious who are so devoted to helping people and what about the children? They are innocent. God is evil if He does exist.”
Answer: You are human and real and yet you let preventable tragedies happen all around you and the world everyday and that doesn’t prove that you don’t exist or that you are evil. We all let or can't prevent some evil from happening. Yes, children are innocent, I think God knows this better than you or me. We also have to consider the “free will” that God gives us, it wouldn’t be free if He prevented evil. Also if we have a long-lived or eternal soul that exists after death then we have a second life. Before we die we can chose a good after-life or a bad one, so how can we complain?
“Religion is too difficult to understand, full of contradictions and myths.”
Answer: Real life is difficult to understand, full of contradictions and myths. Just try to figure out: the government, romance, marriage or your own family and you'll understand...you can't understand it. Religion is complicated and just because we are ignorant of all the answers. It doesn't mean that we should become negative and critical. Religion and a holy life in the God of Jesus is the answer that you need.
“How can we choose Heaven or Hell when we have no proof that they exist? This is an unfair test.”
Answer: You can’t prove that Heaven & Hell don’t exist either, so if you’re worried about it, then seek out your answers. If you were meant to go to Hell, then you probably wouldn’t be the type to search your heart, Bible, or churches to find God. We can prove that we'll all die, but that's all. Jesus died and was resurrected and rose in the air into Heaven forty days later, in front of five hundred witnesses. Is it possible? Why not? Can we believe the testimony of millions and billions of Christians? Yes.
“Why would God make sin feel so good, if He wanted us to go to Heaven?”
Answer: It’s a test, remember? Sin at first feels better than religion, but later holiness feels better and later sin has guilt attached to it that ruins some of the pleasure.
No one knows all the answers,
but we still have to chose to live with God on earth & Heaven or not.
Anyone or anything can be criticized, but it doesn't mean it is inferior.
